Throughout her practice of law, Chelsea has won over clients, opposing attorneys and judges with grace, humor, integrity, and a knack for isolating the details that make the difference. Her impact on us since joining the firm in 2008 was no different. To a woman of many hats – mother, wife, friend, lawyer, volunteer Judge and board member, we are very happy to add one more – partner.
A 2001 graduate of Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College, her practice emphasizes effective representation for clients with domestic relations issues including divorces, modifications, spousal support issues, child custody, third party rights, and adoptions. She has practiced divorce and family law in the Mid-Willamette Valley and throughout Oregon since 2002.
“Chelsea has proven herself to be an extremely effective advocate for our clients and an excellent representative within the community. Her capabilities are a great complement to our existing strengths in the areas of banking, real estate, business litigation, and estate planning. We are very proud to welcome her aboard as our business partner,” stated managing partner Mark C. Hoyt.
Chelsea was recently appointed to the Oregon State Bar’s State Professional Responsibility Board and volunteers as a Pro Tem Judge in Marion County. She maintains membership in the Marion County Bar Association, and the family law section of the Oregon State Bar. She is a member of the Board of Directors of The Boys and Girls Club of Salem, Marion and Polk Counties.
